Phase One

Relocating offices to a new, more accessible building

  • The church offices are not only a great distance from the church entrances, but they also occupy valuable space in the Preschool and Children's wing. The new offices will be more accessible to church members, visitors, and service vendors.

Renovating the current church office space to accomodate younger children

  • We are currently placing preschool age children on the top floor of the educational building and will be faced with moving an additional preschool class upstairs this Fall. At that point there will be no more Sunday School space available for our children to study about Jesus. Moreover, the Nursery and Preschool should be together in a secure area on the main floor, where parents can conveniently drop children off and from which children can be quickly exited in the event of an emergency.

Extending the educational building northward towards Love Avenue

  • The extension will provide for future educational space for children (main floor) and adults (ground floor).

Connecting the main educational building with the FLC with an atrium and concourse including an elevator

  • The atrium will become the gathering/welcome location. The concourse and elevator are essential in moving people and helping them access other floors of the church.
